(SaveAmericaNews.org) – Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and presenter Sean Hannity got into a heated argument on Wednesday’s episode of FNC’s “Hannity” over her opposition to Rep. Kevin McCarthy’s (R-CA) campaign for speaker.
Hannity believed that McCarthy’s bid for 218 votes was being mistreated by Boebert and her Republican caucus colleagues.
He said, “Let me turn the tables, Congresswoman. Kevin McCarthy is up by 202 to 3. Your team has twenty. Given that he has almost 200 and you have 20, isn’t it time for you and your side to pack it in if I’m going to utilize your words, your technique, and your math?”
“Sean, I swear I understand your frustration,” Boebert said.
Hannity stated, “I’m not frustrated. “You evaded any questions. I don’t feel annoyed.”
“And we are getting a lot of extremely positive feedback from folks who are still supporting Kevin McCarthy in his votes,” said Boebert.
“And they’re encouraging us. Therefore, there are more people for us than against us. They are anticipating Kevin to give in. The American people, you know, are definitely dissatisfied.”
Hannity remarked, “You’re not answering my question. Congresswoman, I’m disappointed you didn’t respond to my direct query.
You told President Trump earlier today that he needed to inform Kevin McCarthy that he lacks the necessary votes.”
Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) promised to keep running for speaker on Thursday, even though neither round of voting gave him enough votes.
When asked by CNN when he would know he lacked the necessary votes to become speaker, McCarthy responded, “After I win.”
Asked at what point will he make a realization that the outcome won’t change, McCarthy told me: “After I win.”

The House will keep voting until an elected member gets enough votes to meet the requirement. Before the House elects a leader, no other House business may be conducted.
