Schiff: Biden Documents Possibly Threatened National Security

(SaveAmericaNews.org) – On ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday, Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) stated that Congress could not “ignore the potential” that the handling of President Biden’s secret materials put national security at risk.

“You appeared on the program just after Attorney General Garland named a special counsel to investigate the Trump materials,” asked anchor Jonathan Karl.

“You said it was a wise decision. Do you share my sentiments on this special counsel?”

Schiff replied, “I do believe it’s the appropriate decision. The attorney general must ensure that justice is administered fairly and seems that way to the public.

In this case, I don’t believe he had a choice but to appoint a special counsel. The special counsel will likely conduct the appropriate investigation.

Is it plausible that the documents from Mar-a-Lago compromised national security, as many have suggested, including you, Karl?”

“We can’t rule out the idea without more information,” added Schiff. “We have requested that the intelligence community evaluate the Mar-a-Lago papers.”

“We should conduct a similar analysis of the records retrieved from President Biden’s residence and the think tank,” he continued.
